Tanah, Air, Udara dan Api

The Four Elements, Earth, Water, Air and Fire are the building blocks of Nature. In it, they play an important role. Man and woman are part of Nature and their health and well being is influenced by it.

Earth symbolises all the “earthy” stuff of our lives: our roots, our bodies, self-confidence, sense of identity and stability. This is where our therapies lie. They are here to help you to connect to your survival instinct through freeing your bodies of stress and illness.
Water is the stuff of emotions, intuition and “gut instinct”. Water symbolises all that is fertile and unknown in our hearts. Things we feel but cannot quite verbalise. The well- trained practitioner can and does unlock emotional blocks and give us the chance to develop and get in contact with the roots of our emotions, whether positive or negative. This, in return, helps us get back in to the spontaneous flow of life.
Air is the stuff of mind and intellect. It symbolises our mind’s functions and the ideas and aspirations we might have. This is where every action starts, from lifting your hand to writing masterpieces. The mental state of each person is different, and depends on many factors in each individual life. The practitioner is trained to recognise those states of mind and incorporate it in the whole “elemental” picture, if you like, of each person she/he treats. Our mind can imprison us or free us. The practitioner strives to free the mind.
Fire is the drive within each of us. It symbolises action and what motivates us to perform.Fire is equally our digestion and our passionate debate. Without Air there is no Fire; this is where all our mind’s desire for actions comes to fruition. The experienced practitioner will recognise too much fire behind a bad temper and not enough in waves of depression. This, he/she will strive to balance.

And there is the final, Fifth Element! As with all things of Mystery, life is mystery itself, the greatest of all. The Fifth Element is not included in our name, as it has no name that has not been used incorrectly. It is subtle knowledge which uncovers itself from within. It is the stuff of the spiritual and of the sixth sense. It has no name but there are disciplines which all describe it in different ways.
